Oh hi! I'm Carolina Almeida!

I'm a Designer and Animator based in London. My work ranges widely; I've worked within Graphic Design, Illustration, Motion Graphics, 2D and 3D animation fields. The overall sentiment of my work is storytelling through great visuals (there's always a story to tell) and there tends to be a good selection of colours and a character or two in there too!

I've worked with two incredible businesses as a Graphic Designer and achieved a first class degree in Computer Animation at Bournemouth University's National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA), the UK's top animation school.

As a previous animation student, cinema and TV are a huge inspiration in my work, as well as everyday life. Whether it’s a beautifully designed inflight magazine or the typography on food packaging, my phone is a bank of inspired references that I come across.

​

My work stretches across several formats, from branding and advertising to award winning 3D animated films. I’m always keen to try a new medium and master it!

 

In my free time, you’ll find me crocheting and attempting to knit, eating good food around London, travelling (heading to Copenhagen next), and honestly drawing more.
